Program description

The best advertising do more than just sell items; they become part of a larger debate and take on a life of their own. We'll provide you the tools you need to turn your ideas into eye-catching campaigns as part of our BA/BSc (Hons) Advertising degree.

This course, taught at our Business School for the Creative Industries, provides you with a unique opportunity to combine academic brilliance with professional experience, taught by highly experienced practitioners with links to some of the industry's largest names.

You will be encouraged to develop innovative and eye-catching projects across a variety of platforms, collaborating with students from different programmes to bring them to life. You'll learn critical thinking, research, production, and communication skills, as well as art direction, copywriting, and digital media.

You can enroll in an Integrated International Foundation Year, which was created especially to give international students English language and creative skills before they start their first year of study.

As part of this programme, you have the option of completing a Professional Practice Year. This will allow you to expand your professional, intellectual, and personal potential, preparing you to be confident and involved in creative environments. Employers value these characteristics, and a considerable proportion of placement students are offered graduate-level positions or pursue postgraduate studies.
